Our department is composed of approximately 65 employees including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and supportive staff. A pharmacy that dispenses generally low volume and high cost medicinal preparations to patients who are undergoing intensive therapies for illnesses that are generally chronic, complex and potentially life threatening. Often these therapies require specialized delivery and administration.

In 1947, after that baseball made history, Mary and her son-in-law, Nick Perrino, crafted the iconic Chicago pizza recipe known today. I hope our pizza provides as many great memories for you as it has for us. Small pizzas average between 8 and 10 inches in diameter and will yield about six slices. Medium pizzas run 12 inches in diameter and will give you about eight slices.

Large pizzas are 14 inches in diameter and will offer approximately 10 slices. Home Run Inn pizzas are made from our original family recipe created in 1947 by Mary Grittani and Nick Perrino. Sometimes, you just need a meal that’s quick and reliable. It is a little greasier than your typical pizza crust though. When it comes down to it, Home Run Inn’s Meat Lovers Pizza made for excellent pizza -eating. It is the best frozen pizza I’ve ever eaten and I would get it over a number of chain pizzas, especially when there’s a BOGO sale. Above all, Home Run Inn is a proud, family-owned business—one with deep roots in the city of Chicago. In 1923, the original Home Run Inn location opened as a small tavern on Chicago’s South Side.

Who Makes Home Run Pizza?

One of the most attractive things about frozen pizzas is their accessibility and readiness. All you have to do is pop the breakfast pizza in the oven at 375° for about 20 minutes, and you’re set. Preheat the oven while you’re starting your morning routine, place your pizza in the oven when it’s ready and let it cook while you start your day. The peppery gravy and biscuit crust reminds me of a good ol’ biscuits and gravy breakfast. Combine that with our other breakfast favorites like eggs and sausage, and you’ve got a total home run.

Keeping myself from grabbing every single breakfast pizza off the shelf might be a challenge. It’s hard to have an amazing day when you don’t start with an amazing breakfast. We try to help as much as we can by collecting recipes we like and sharing them with you . Even then, it’s hard to juggle work, chores, cooking, family and your own well-being all of the time.
